Be Comfortable and Stylish with Cutting Line Designs

How about a design for a beach cover-up, a lounge-around-the-house garment, an evening-out jacket, a top layer for a wedding, and a light coat all in one pattern?  Make yourself a kimono--it's feminine, luxurious, and supremely comfortable all at the same time.  This is Comfort and Style.

Here's two in hand-painted silk and another in linen with some machine embroidery added.  I made one of these for myself in wool, and I wore it to stay warm at the Sewing and Stitchery Expo in Puyallup in February.  It was so cozy.

Think of the many ways you could make this and wear it for just about any occasion.  To make your decision easier, we're putting Comfort and Style on sale at $18 until 8 pm Eastern time on Sunday, June 16.  So get those scissors out!

We'll suggest a few fabrics, and even put them on sale until 8 pm Eastern, Sunday, June 16.  Choose to go casual or dressy.  Then keep reading to see the other garment in the pattern.

Wear the kimono your way: silky, casual, dressy, luxurious, easy.  Same with the vest.  Let it stand on its own as that third layer to lift an outfit to a new level.  Or combine it with the kimono as a set, then also wear each piece on its own.

These fabrics will also be on sale until 8 pm Eastern, Sunday, June 16.

You know that we always try to give you great value by designing 2 garments for each pattern.  But Comfort and Style gives you even more.  We've included the pattern for an OBI.  I especially like the shallow U shape of this one (rather than a straight rectangle).  It's more versatile:  wear it at the waist or let it rest on your high hip.

So make one piece or all three and take Comfort and Style in your own unique direction.
