|WHAT'S FUN FOR YOU???
| Are you playing Rhapsody in Blue or 60's rock and roll (at top volume)? Are you enjoying a soothing cup of herbal tea or a mug of hot, strong coffee? Do you crave a few minutes of solitude or a group Facebook meet-up with several friends? I know I'd love a few bites of chocolate, but there's no chocolate in my house!
So I'm turning to sewing. I have a few projects planned and will share when they are finished. I see that some of you have been posting your projects on the Facebook Forum. It's great to see what you are all up to--there are some fabulous projects on view. But for now, I can give you an update on the Sleeve Plackets, Part 2 on the blog. See the final steps on placket construction there. Here's the finished placket on my Timeless and Modern, View A that I showed you last week:
I hope you've all made samples so you can enjoy one of these terrific shirts also.
One of the ways to enhance your enjoyment of all your sewing is to download our "Isn't It Fitting" book. Here's an example of an adjustment, showing you that you get both photos and written instructions to make all the pattern changes clear and easy to understand.
We also included mini-pats like these. You can copy these pages over and over and practice all the adjustments. Once you're comfortable, take those same adjustments to your pattern with confidence.
Once you've downloaded the book, print it off. Place each page in a plastic page protector and make yourself a 3-ring binder with all the fitting knowledge you need. It will be an incredible resource for you!
SAMPLE POLICY: We just wanted to remind you that we are happy to send you free samples of fabrics you're interested in. So we ask that you limit your request to 3 samples at a time.
