1 plus 1 plus pants and skirts in your closet equals many outfits!!
FEATURED SEWING PATTERN
Make this top and vest, then pair the top with skirts and pants in your closet. Wear it without the vest sometimes. Then pop the vest over those same outfits to double the possibilities. For even more combos, put the vest over other tops you already have.
Of course, Artist in Motion is specially priced until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, July 27.
Inspiration garments from this pattern are still up on the Home Page, as well as the Summer Wardrobe garments. Maybe some ideas there will be perfect for you. There's more info about the Summer Wardrobe on the Stitch to Style blog.
And lots of pretty fabrics to make the top out of--although you could do the vest out of most of these also. Some of these have a second markdown taken on them, good until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, July 27, while some remain at their regular price.
There are some shirtweight cottons here, good for the heat of summer that we're having. The cross-dye cottons are smooth, light, and so pretty as the light plays over those threads. Of course the Japanese dobby cottons have a bit of texture and hardly wrinkle, even after washing. There's a terrific gold-glazed beige linen, and a double-sided linen/cotton from Japan. So have fun choosing, make up your choice, then show us on the Facebook Forum and brag about your accomplishment.
Vest fabrics below--I love the cross-dye linens. Their colors are luscious, and they are so light. They would drape beautifully in the vest. The final four fabrics below are organzas that would make dressy vests-great for sparking up an otherwise simple combo of white shirt and black pants. And of course, the two black wool gauze fabrics are absolutely fabulous for their drape, the classic color, and their especially light weight. They'll carry you from the earliest cool days right through till spring.
Some of these are marked down as well, until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, July 27.
SPREAD THE WORD
Please help us stay connected and expand our sewing community by sharing this newsletter with your friends and have them sign up to receive their own newsletter.
So many of you have joined us for fun and learning on the Facebook Forum. However, many of you who have said you want to join have not answered the 3 sewing-related questions. We'd love to have each of you be able to get in, but that can't happen if you haven't answered the questions. Please be sure to answer, because we'd like to know each of you.
Please confine your sample requests to 3 per order. That allows us to give you the same prompt service you are used to. Also, remember that if you ask for a sample of a fabric that's on sale, the sale may be over before the sample gets to you through the mail.
If you are searching for a specific fabric on the website and you know the number of it, be sure to put a 5-digit number in the search box. Examples: 00532 or 01379. You don't need to include the letters (FF) with the numbers.
By the way, we've heard that a few of you have thought that you had to have a PayPal account to order from us online. That's not the case. Even though you'll see "Proceed to PayPal" on one of the order pages, just click on it to go to the next page. You'll see that you can choose whatever credit card you would like to use.
