|STAY AT HOME STYLE
Everywhere I look, the fashion message seems to be focused on easy, comfortable fabrics and shapes. A lot of us seem to be looking for calm, tranquility, relaxation, and we want those in our surroundings and in what we wear.
Here at Cutting Line Designs, we're wearing our Comfort and Style kimono. Yes, it's easy to wear, but it's also easy to make. Choose a natural-fiber fabric and make something that's comfy at the end of the day, or even all day!
Pair your kimono with a pair of soft One Seam Pants and you'll be ready to relax.
Both these patterns will be specially priced until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, August 24.
Here's a selection of natural-fiber fabrics that will make easy-going garments for your downtime at home.
Try these 4 cottons as companions. Their buttons, safety pins, and zippers will work together to make some outstanding garments.
These digital prints would make great kimonos. They're 45" wide. To make the kimono from 45" fabric, you'll need to cut the pattern on the crossgrain. So ta-da, you'll get the beautiful gradation of the color from the neckline to the hem of your kimono. It's a plus!
These 4 linens are light and soft, like the one I used to make my kimono. And they're on sale until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, August 24.
And this group of cottons will also work well for garments to relax in. We brought them in at special introductory prices.
Enjoy making your own new outfit, then lounging on the couch!

Please help us stay connected and expand our sewing community by sharing this newsletter with your friends and have them sign up to receive their own newsletter.
So many of you have joined us for fun and learning on the Facebook Forum. However, many of you who have said you want to join have not answered the 3 sewing-related questions. We'd love to have each of you be able to get in, but that can't happen if you haven't answered the questions. Please be sure to answer, because we'd like to know each of you.
Please confine your sample requests to 3 per order. That allows us to give you the same prompt service you are used to. Also, remember that if you ask for a sample of a fabric that's on sale, the sale may be over before the sample gets to you through the mail.
If you are searching for a specific fabric on the website and you know the number of it, be sure to put a 5-digit number in the search box. Examples: 00532 or 01379. You don't need to include the letters (FF) with the numbers.
We want to assure you that we fill all your orders and ship them within 24 hours of the time we receive them. It seems that there are some delays with mail service at this time, so it may take a bit longer than usual for your orders to reach you. However, we are doing our part to send them promptly.
By the way, we've heard that a few of you have thought that you had to have a PayPal account to order from us online. That's not the case. Even though you'll see "Proceed to PayPal" on one of the order pages, just click on it to go to the next page. You'll see that you can choose whatever credit card you would like to use.
