|SAVINGS + EASY STYLE
A special event is happening! It's time for the ASG National Conference, and it's a virtual event this year. As always, the public is welcome in the vendor hall, and you can visit online this year. Of course, Cutting Line Designs is there.
Go to https://www.asg.org/virtual-vendors/ beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern (9 a.m. Central) tomorrow (Sept. 11) to visit our virtual booth and save! You'll need to enter the code, which is asg2020, in the right hand column on the checkout page to get special savings on all your fabric purchases from September 11-17.
In addition, all regular-priced patterns will be marked down for the days of the Conference--September 11-17.
EASY NEVER LOOKED THIS GOOD
Let's take another look at the delightful variations on CLD patterns that our Sewing Star Terri has created. First, her dress based on lengthening the Ebb top pattern.
Terri's soft wool jacket with the selvedge used as trim is one of my favorites. This is from Snap To It, view B.
Terri included the snap tape as directed in the pattern, and you can too. We have black and white snap tape on the website, but we also have beige, tan, and rust snap tape in the warehouse. If you would like to order these extra colors, simply order white snap tape, then email Louise at Louise@CuttingLineDesigns.com and let her know what color you want. We sell 1-1/4 yard units for $10. If you want 2 colors, simply order 2 white snap tapes, then explain in your email.
Below, see Terri's wool jacket, also from Snap To It, View A. Terri omitted the buttonholes and buttons, opting for ties to close her jacket. And to the right, another innovation. Terri straightened the hemline of view B and cut the left front pattern piece for both fronts. She stitched her garment from a lightweight fabric for a glamorous result. Think of how easy it is to wear!
All Terri's garments remain up on the Home Page. I know I've been inspired by her, and I think you can get great ideas too.
Here are some of the fabrics we showed you in Monday's newsletter that we thought would be especially suited to Terri's ideas. Remember that you will save on all your fabric purchases by going to the ASG website!
SPREAD THE WORD
Please help us stay connected and expand our sewing community by sharing this newsletter with your friends and have them sign up to receive their own newsletter.
So many of you have joined us for fun and learning on the Facebook Forum. However, many of you who have said you want to join have not answered the 3 sewing-related questions. We'd love to have each of you be able to get in, but that can't happen if you haven't answered the questions. Please be sure to answer, because we'd like to know each of you.
Please confine your sample requests to 3 per order. That allows us to give you the same prompt service you are used to. Also, remember that if you ask for a sample of a fabric that's on sale, the sale may be over before the sample gets to you through the mail.
If you are searching for a specific fabric on the website and you know the number of it, be sure to put a 5-digit number in the search box. Examples: 00532 or 01379. You don't need to include the letters (FF) with the numbers.
We want to assure you that we fill all your orders and ship them within 24 hours of the time we receive them. It seems that there are some delays with mail service at this time, both within the country and to other countries, so it may take a bit longer than usual for your orders to reach you. However, we are doing our part to send them promptly.
By the way, we've heard that a few of you have thought that you had to have a PayPal account to order from us online. That's not the case. Even though you'll see "Proceed to PayPal" on one of the order pages, just click on it to go to the next page. You'll see that you can choose whatever credit card you would like to use.
You are receiving this email because 1.) You're an awesome customer of "CuttingLineDesigns" or 2.) You subscribed via our website.
