In case you haven't visited our Home Page in the last few days, I'd like to let you know about the dismaying loss suffered by our dear friend of 30 years. Diane Ericson, an inspirational sewing teacher and talented artist, has lost absolutely everything in the fires in Ashland, Oregon. Her home, her studio, and all her work were destroyed. She evidently escaped with her computer, her sewing machine, and the clothes she was wearing. Many of you may know her or know of her, and have been in her delightful classes.
A Go Fund Me page has been established to help Diane. Here's the link:
Our current sale in conjunction with the American Sewing Guild is almost over!! You have 2 ways to save on fabrics and patterns at Cutting Line Designs. If you'd like to see the other virtual vendors at the American Sewing Guild virtual vendor hall, follow the link below.
Go to https://www.asg.org/virtual-vendors/ from now until midnight on Thursday, September 17. You'll need to enter the code, which is asg2020, in the right hand column on the checkout page to get special savings on all your fabric purchases at Cutting Line Designs, as well as saving on specially priced patterns.
But you can also visit Cutting Line Designs directly and use the same code (asg2020) on the checkout page to get the same savings on all our beautiful fabrics. Also, all our patterns are specially priced till Thursday evening, for even more savings. We invite you to travel this second path to savings.
SPREAD THE WORD
Please help us stay connected and expand our sewing community by sharing this newsletter with your friends and have them sign up to receive their own newsletter.
So many of you have joined us for fun and learning on the Facebook Forum. However, many of you who have said you want to join have not answered the 3 sewing-related questions. We'd love to have each of you be able to get in, but that can't happen if you haven't answered the questions. Please be sure to answer, because we'd like to know each of you.
Please confine your sample requests to 3 per order. That allows us to give you the same prompt service you are used to. Also, remember that if you ask for a sample of a fabric that's on sale, the sale may be over before the sample gets to you through the mail.
If you are searching for a specific fabric on the website and you know the number of it, be sure to put a 5-digit number in the search box. Examples: 00532 or 01379. You don't need to include the letters (FF) with the numbers.
We want to assure you that we fill all your orders and ship them promptly. It seems that there are some delays with mail service at this time, both within the country and to other countries, so it may take a bit longer than usual for your orders to reach you.
By the way, we've heard that a few of you have thought that you had to have a PayPal account to order from us online. That's not the case. Even though you'll see "Proceed to PayPal" on one of the order pages, just click on it to go to the next page. You'll see that you can choose whatever credit card you would like to use.
