Isn't It Fitting will show you over 80 pages of pattern alterations so you can perfect the fit of not only your new shirts but also pants, skirts, tops, shells, and vests. Here's an illustration of one way to add center back length to a shirt with a yoke, allowing a better fit over a rounded upper back.
Cutting Between the Lines will help you plan everything from an outfit to an entire wardrobe. Its 190+ pages open with information about planning for your lifestyle, fabric color, texture, and coordination, and continues with the "flats" of every pattern in the Cutting Line Designs pattern line. You can debut each pattern or outfit you're thinking about, like the example below.
This week we're featuring 4 shirt patterns. Just using these patterns as is will give you lots of variety, but you can then add your own twists by piecing multiple fabrics into one garment, adding different details, shortening, lengthening, adding more pockets, adding trims . . . . . See the Home Page for more ideas.
These 4 patterns will be specially priced until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, October 26.
We have terrific fabrics for your shirts. I'll show you some here, but there are even more on the website. Take a look. Some of the fabrics in this newsletter are at regular price, while others in this newsletter will be up to 30% off until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, October 26.
SPREAD THE WORD
Please help us stay connected and expand our sewing community by sharing this newsletter with your friends and have them sign up to receive their own newsletter.
So many of you have joined us for fun and learning on the Facebook Forum. However, many of you who have said you want to join have not answered the 3 sewing-related questions. We'd love to have each of you be able to get in, but that can't happen if you haven't answered the questions. Please be sure to answer, because we'd like to know each of you.
Please confine your sample requests to 3 per order. That allows us to give you the same prompt service you are used to. Also, remember that if you ask for a sample of a fabric that's on sale, the sale may be over before the sample gets to you through the mail.
If you are searching for a specific fabric on the website and you know the number of it, be sure to put a 5-digit number in the search box. Examples: 00532 or 01379. You don't need to include the letters (FF) with the numbers.
We want to assure you that we fill all your orders and ship them within 24 hours of the time we receive them. It seems that there are some delays with mail service at this time, both within the country and to other countries, so it may take a bit longer than usual for your orders to reach you. However, we are doing our part to send them promptly.
By the way, we've heard that a few of you have thought that you had to have a PayPal account to order from us online. That's not the case. Even though you'll see "Proceed to PayPal" on one of the order pages, just click on it to go to the next page. You'll see that you can choose whatever credit card you would like to use.
