|CHIC--AT HOME OR AWAY
So exciting! We've received a special shipment of fabrics imported from Spain.
Sew up something stylish and practical--be ready for the time that's coming when we can be out and about again.
These fabrics are polyester/spandex blends, so you'll be comfortable and look fresh whether you're stepping out of your own car or a plane. Wear them in your own town or in another country.
I spent 2 weeks in Spain working from a carry-on bag and a purse, and these are the sorts of fabrics that carried me through. But I also love wrinkle-free fabrics that always look good when I'm at home. Let's take a look.
Here's the first group. These are black, and we're suggesting some fabrics that would make terrific jackets, shirts, pencil skirts, or dresses that will look great with them.
Some fabrics shown below are ON SALE until 8 p.m. Eastern on Monday, February 1.
One of the imports from Spain is also poly/spandex in charcoal grey--so here it is with some coordinates.
And one more import from Spain in royal blue poly/spandex and some suggested coordinates--
The Sewing and Stitchery Expo is online this year, so you don't have to fly or drive to be there. You can get all the learning, fabrics, and goodies right from your computer, phone, or tablet.
We will have 2 sessions when we can display and discuss our fabrics, patterns, and notions online. The first is on Wednesday, February 24, from 1-2 Pacific Time. The second is on Thursday, February 25 from 1-2 Pacific Time.
We'll have a coupon sale during the days of the show (details to follow), so get your tickets at sewexpo.com. They are available starting January 12, and you can download the entire catalog.
Also, Sandy will have 2 sessions called "Let's Fill the Gaps in Your Wardrobe". They are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. Pacific Time and again on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
We hope you'll join us, and we'll have fun together.
SPREAD THE WORD
Please help us stay connected and expand our sewing community by sharing this newsletter with your friends and have them sign up to receive their own newsletter.
So many of you have joined us for fun and learning on the Facebook Forum. However, many of you who have said you want to join have not answered the 3 sewing-related questions. We'd love to have each of you be able to get in, but that can't happen if you haven't answered the questions. Please be sure to answer, because we'd like to know each of you.
Please confine your sample requests to 3 per order. That allows us to give you the same prompt service you are used to. Also, remember that if you ask for a sample of a fabric that's on sale, the sale may be over before the sample gets to you through the mail.
If you are searching for a specific fabric on the website and you know the number of it, be sure to put a 5-digit number in the search box. Examples: 00532 or 01379. You don't need to include the letters (FF) with the numbers.
We want to assure you that we fill all your orders and ship them quickly. It seems that there are some delays with mail service at this time, both within the country and to other countries, so it may take a bit longer than usual for your orders to reach you. However, we are doing our part to send them promptly.
By the way, we've heard that a few of you have thought that you had to have a PayPal account to order from us online. That's not the case. Even though you'll see "Check out with PayPal" on one of the order pages, just click on it to go to the next page. You'll see that you can choose whatever credit card you would like to use.
