Summer's Palette at Cutting Line Designs

GET READY FOR A COLORFUL SUMMER
 fabrics

Louise and I had so much fun pulling fabrics from the shelves, combining what we already had in stock with new fabrics that had just come in.  It all added up to a variety of lively combinations to enjoy this summer.

So it's time to get ready.  I've posted some photos on the Home Page for inspiration.  We pulled out garments made for fashion shows through the years and played with putting them together.  See what you think----I'll bet you come up with some great ideas, including ones that haven't occurred to us yet.

These patterns could work especially well for some summer outfits, so we're putting them ON SALE until 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, April 18.

You could begin with these 3 solid color linens that speak to summer leaves, sun reflecting on water, and the far horizon.  There's also a cotton in black to play around with.  Combinations of the solid colors is a great way to get started.  Then play around with the variety of fabrics below--some of them are ON SALE until 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, April 18.

Add a printed linen (or two)-----

These are ramie prints.  Ramie is a cellulose fiber like linen, and these prints are lightweight and lovely--great for summer.  The cross-dye linens will work in beautifully too.

These cottons will make campshirts, shells, and tops to fill in the gaps--and you'll come up with even more ideas---------

When linen is combined with rayon, the combination has a bit more drape.  These could work into your closet nicely.

And here's a linen/cotton blend from Japan, along with a new knit in rayon/spandex that's lots of fun-----------

We want to assure you that we fill all your orders and ship them quickly.  It seems that there are some delays with mail service at this time, both within the country and to other countries, so it may take a bit longer than usual for your orders to reach you.  However, we are doing our part to send them promptly.
