Play with Colors at Cutting Line Designs

These 2 new fabrics inspired us with so many ideas.  Let's take a look-

cotton     cotton

They're light/midweight linen/cotton, which means they're very versatile.  Louise thought they would be so much fun as straight-leg One-Seam Pants.  I thought they'd be great to make up in the Anything But Ordinary jacket.  And we agreed that a top from Light and Shadow would also work well.

SO, we decided to put all 3 patterns ON SALE until 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, September 20.  Here they are--

One Seam Pants     Anything But Ordinary

                                  Light and Shadow

Then we thought about what fabrics could work well with those stripes (and with each other).  The black polyester below would make wrinkle-free pants, while the beige linen would be great for lightweight pants, the Anything But Ordinary top, or something from Light and Shadow.

Most of these fabrics are ON SALE until 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, September 20.

polyester      beige linen

Maybe you want to make an Anything But Ordinary jacket.  Here are some more good candidates----

linen/cotton      linen/cotton from Japan

glazed linen      linen

Then there are fabrics that would make pretty coordinating tops from Anything But Ordinary or Light and Shadow--

linen cross-dye     linen cross-dye

cotton shirtweight     linen/cotton from Japan

linen/rayon blend     linen cross dye

You can mix and match in whatever way you want.  There are so many possibilities here.  Have fun planning.

So many of you have joined us for fun and learning on the Facebook Forum.  However, many of you who have said you want to join have not answered the 3 sewing-related questions.  We'd love to have each of you be able to get in, but that can't happen if you haven't answered the questions.  Please be sure to answer, because we'd like to know each of you.

Please confine your sample requests to 3 per order
.  That allows us to give you the same prompt service you are used to.  Also, remember that if you ask for a sample of a fabric that's on sale, the sale may be over before the sample gets to you through the mail.

If you are searching for a specific fabric on the website and you know the number of it, be sure to put a 5-digit number in the search box.  Examples:  00532 or 01379.  You don't need to include the letters (FF) with the numbers.

We want to assure you that we fill all your orders and ship them quickly.  It seems that there are some delays with mail service at this time, both within the country and to other countries, so it may take a bit longer than usual for your orders to reach you.  However, we are doing our part to send them promptly.

PaypalBy the way, we've heard that a few of you have thought that you had to have a PayPal account to order from us online. That's not the case. Even though you'll see "Check out with PayPal" on one of the order pages, just click on it to go to the next page. You'll see that you can choose whatever credit card you would like to use.
