Wow! Some sewers will be wearing fabulous jackets in the coming weeks. All of you really responded to the idea of making fashion from the "boiled wool" this week. We'll keep the remaining yards on sale until 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, January 23.

Our instructions in "Give a Little, Tale a Little" include diagrams of each of these patterns. In addition, we explain how to handle seams, attach facings, collars, and sleeves, and many other matters that lead to success and beautifully finished garments. Also, we have the best double-sided sticky tape for handling the "boiled wool" to enhance your best workmanship.
 
Try one of these "boiled wool" (wool/rayon knit) fabrics. Again, they're on sale.
 
And we're letting you know about an addition fabric (also on sale) that is interesting and beautiful. It comes from Giorgio Armani in Italy, and is woven of thicker threads in a slightly loose weave. Sew this conventionally.

AMERICAN SEWING GUILD
Sandy will be teaching "Tips from Cutting Line Designs for Starting Right" for the American Sewing Guild on February 17. This class will cover all those little things to do before you begin sewing that can make or break your effort in creating a new garment. (You must be an ASG member in order to register.)
