Here are a few synopses of the books.  Maybe one or two are right for your sewing issues.

"Always Flattering--Our Approach to Pants" is filled with helpful and inspiring information to provide you with a pant wardrobe for every style need. Amazingly, one straightforward pattern piece can provide you with an easy-to-make pair of pants that is also capable of almost endless variation. That’s the One-Seam Pants© pattern. It has two looks: the straight leg and the tapered leg, plus design details right in the pattern. So get the pattern, read it through, and get ready for using this book to amp up your new looks in pants. And there’s more! The book also includes variations for the pants in the My Swing Set pattern. These pants are designed with a side seam, so they’re a bit more tapered and will give you even more looks to enjoy wearing.

"Isn't It Fitting" features Louise's unique method of fitting.  It includes a measurement chart for 21 areas of the body as well as instructions on how to measure.  Then 70 pages of pattern adjustments follow, allowing you to go directly to the adjustment you want.  Over 200 photos accompany the detailed step-by-step instructions, making it easy for you to get accurate results.  There are even mini-patterns that you can print and use to practice the various adjustments.  There are sections covering adjustments for the front of the body, the back of the body, sleeves, petites, skirts, and pants, so you should find information on any kind of garment you want to fine-tune.

"Cutting Between the Lines" is a 190+ page wardrobe planning booklet page available for download.  It contains the "flats" for the front and back views of all the patterns in the Cutting Line Designs pattern line.  (The "flats" are those line drawings that appear on the back of the pattern envelope and on page 1 of the instructions.)  This PDF book provides all the flats, with each one on a separate page so you can print them out either on a copy of fabric you have scanned or on scrapbook paper.  It's a great way to work out color schemes, which garments might be needed for a specific purpose, how to achieve the most outfits with the fewest garments (great for packing) and other wardrobe issues.

"Give a Little, Take a Little" explains all our tips for working with wool/rayon knit that looks like boiled wool.  We've discussed both overlapped and conventional seam techniques and how to choose which technique to use in various situations.  Neck facings require a bit of finesse, so we've gone into the details for both sew-on and cut-on facings.  Collars must be applied in a completely different way, so we've given you the details on that.  In addition, there's a helpful list of tools, presser feet, machine settings, and supplies to take the guesswork out of getting started.  We've also included the mini-pats (miniature pictures of the pattern pieces) for 6 of our jacket patterns showing you where you Give a Little and Take a little to create those overlapped seams that you see in high-end ready to wear.
