The rich tan background of this midweight Japanese cotton duck provides a quiet background that really sets off the lively motifs in brighter colors. Along one selvedge is a wide white stripe whose straight edge is a few inches from that selvedge. The other side of this lengthwise stripe undulates like the edge of a meandering creek. About 12" from the other selvedge is a lengthwise row of small olive rectangles. The other motifs are various sizes of donut shapes in olive and rust, dark green, rose, and dark tan. This fabric will make wonderful jackets, structured vests, tops, and shells, as well as pencil skirts.
