Cotton sateen uses a satin weave, but it is obviously made of cotton fibers. It shares a smooth, slightly shiny surface with satin, while the "wrong" side has a dull finish. This one is almost as light as a shirtweight, but it has 3% lycra in it, so it has just a bit more beefiness than shirting and a bit of stretch on the crossgrain. On the white background, the flowers bloom in gold, shades of pink, and shades of blue. Stems and leaves are in shades of green. Make tops, shirts, shells, vests, tunics, dresses, pants, and pencil skirts.
