DEEP BLACK.  What an unusual and special georgette.  It's woven in 2 layers:  the ground is see-through georgette with flowers woven into it so they stand up a thread or so from the ground.  The flowers have slight ripples in them, adding to the surface interest, and they have loose edges here and there.  This Italian georgette will make a spectacular evening garment, perhaps a shirt, blouse, vest or jacket.
