As you know, the dobby weaves are a favorite of Louise and me because they wrinkle so little even though they are all cotton. This one is bright and happy. Dark charcoal grey "stems" run the full length of the fabric, with little knobs on them that look as though they could be buds. Then bright red flowers with pale yellow centers and white "stamens" bloom every couple of inches. The dobby weave has a just a bit more body than a shirtweight, but it will make great shirts, tops, vests, shells, tunics, and dresses.
