Louise and I love these cotton dobby weave fabrics.  The combination of thicker and finer threads in the weave not only gives them surface interest, it also keeps them from wrinkling.  I only give my garments a bit of a touch-up with the iron, even though they are all cotton.  Some of the dobby weaves like this one are attractive on both sides.  One side of this is solid antique gold in color, while the other side shows a bit of white, giving the surface an extra visual dimension. This one is just a bit more substantial than a shirtweight fabric, and has the characteristic slight crispness of cotton.  Make shirts, blouses, tunics, shells, vests, dresses, skirts, and pants.
