This linen/cotton blend from Japan has a beige background with one inch wide stripes of dark gray painted on it. Over the stripes are occasional one inch dots of silver, looking like moons on a clear night. On each selvedge edge is a border consisting of more one inch stripes: several silver stripes alternating with a stripe of the same dark grey. One selvedge edge is purple, with "Echino" printed on it. The weight makes this fabric perfect for shirts/jackets, tops, shells, and vests.
