In a unique, deep black fabric from Spain, this is a blend of polyester, cotton, nylon, and spandex.  It stretches in both lengthwise and crosswise grains.  I tried to wrinkle it and the wrinkles fell out instantly.  It's a smooth weave with body, and it's a medium/heavy weight, but with some drape.  It has a lovely, soft hand and will make comfortable pants, skirts, jackets, and vests.
