Lightweight silk shantung has a pretty sheen and only a few subtle slubs in the weave.  It is soft but a bit crisp.  The design is delightful: green leaves and stems support bright yellow daffodils, and that foliage forms shoes!  What fun!  In addition, black script spells out in French that the flowers are fantastic.  All this is on a barely off-white background.  Make shirts, blouses, tops, or shells.
