This tape is ironed on the wrong side of the garment body before the sleeve is pinned in.
The tape is 1/2" wide and has a very narrow stationary ribbon sewn to it.
The tape is placed right over the 5/8" seam line with the ribbon running on the stitching line.
It will hold the armhole's shape while the sleeve is pinned and stitched into the armscye, then it will keep the armhole stable for the life of the garment.
