Square silver earrings are 3/4" across and are for pierced ears. Each square has a recessed surface with a matte finish and 9 little posts rising from it. The rim around it is at the level of the posts' tops, and it is slightly smoother. Barbara Cieslicki terms these "body concious" jewelry.
