Have a taste of luxury. Burnout silk velvet feels as good as it looks, and it looks pretty special. This one is deep black: the sheer portions are quite sheer, while the velvet areas are deep black but with a nice sheen. Of course, it's a lightweight fabric. Make a shirt, blouse, or unstructured vest.
