The quality of this cross-dyed cotton shirtweight is exceptional.  The crosswise threads are a warm, bright red, while the lengthwise threads are white.  The overall effect is a bit like a pique weave--really pretty.  The finish is smooth, and it has some slightly crisp body, typical of a cotton.  This will be comfortable during summer heat as a single layer, but you could also make a garment to layer with others.  So consider shells, tops, shirts, blouses, tunics, and dresses.
