Cotton dobby fabrics are woven on a loom with a special accessory allowing threads to be grouped here and there on the crosswise grain. Typically, they wrinkle much less than typical cottons, perhaps because of this special weave. This one is just a slight bit heavier than shirtweight. Flowers are scattered here and there in creamy beige, yellow, light turquoise, dull red-violet, and orange. There are green leaves and waves of faux shibori patterns in olive, and all motifs are on a deep black background. Make a shirt, shell, top, tunic, vest, or dress.
