Cotton from Japan mimics the pattern that would result from the ancient technique of tying tiny shibori dots into fabric, then dyeing it.  This fabric is black with tiny irregular off-white motifs that are not regular dots but result from tiny sections of the crosswise and lengthwise threads being off-white.  See the photos for details.  The fabric is soft, slightly loosely woven, and will be comfortable in hot weather.
