You can use both sides of this cotton dobby from Japan. The face shows a bit of variation in the medium value blue, while the back is consistenly and evenly blue. The dobby weave has a characteristic variation in the threads, giving a bit of surface texture and interest. The blue has just a bit of teal in it. The light weight makes this good for tops and shirts.
