Cotton dobby is a favorite at Cutting Line Designs for its 100% cotton content and for its weave, incorporating thicker threads on both the lengthwise and crosswise grain.  Those threads give a lovely surface texture to the fabric and they also prevent the amount of wrinkling that's typical of cottons.  It's a win-win.  This particular dobby is composed of medium blue and navy with their longest edges along the lengthwise grain.  The navy blocks feature fuzzy concentric arcs of electric blue and off-white, while the medium blue blocks show rows of small flower-like forms.  This fabric is the ideal weight for shirts that can double as lightweight jackets, vests, shells, tops, dresses, and pencil skirts.
