Cotton shirtweights from Japan are exceptionally soft, smooth, and lightweight.  They are also exceptional in their whimsical design.  This one is a fresh kiwi green with little white dogs, pink geometric shapes, blue dots on white squares, among other tiny shapes.  Along one selvedge edge are 2 red-violet lines, one straight and one curved.  The fabric is a stable weave, so you could play with using those lines horizontally or vertically.  Make a shirt, top, shell, tunic, blouse, or dress.
