In midweight cotton with some body, this fabric was designed by a famed Japanese artist and quilter. The motifs are taken from one of her original quilts, so the small ones feature dotted lines that resemble her hand-sewn quilting stitiches. Most of the scattered motifs are light grey, but along one selvedge are motifs in dark brown, red/brown, beige, medium grey, and navy. Play around with placement of motifs or just let them occur wherever they fall on your garment. Make a light jacket, a shirt that can double as a jacket, a top, shell, pencil skirt.
