On a cream-colored cotton background, large handwriting in black looks much like it would be French if it were clear enough to read--but it provides atmosphere!  In much smaller print are quotes from the cute ladies in black dresses who are living or traveling in France.  One lady dances with balloons, one is accompanied by a poodle who carries the shopping bag from what must have been a chic boutique, another carries 2 baguettes.  It's a delightful print on shirtweight cotton that will make shells, tops, and shirts.
