The weave of this light/midweight cotton includes some slightly heavier threads, which give a bit of surface texture and also helps minimize wrinkling--the weave is called a dobby.  Large (6") flowers in chocolate and olive with red stamens nearly cover the black background.  Here and there a beige streak looks like a ray of sunshine among the blooms.  The dobby cottons are wonderful for many kinds of garments:  light jackets, shirts, tops, dresses, vests, or shells.
