This all-cotton fabric is a twill weave, just a bit heavier than a shirtweight, and with some body, a bit of stretch on the crosswise grain, and light crispness. It's called "faded black", so it's darker than charcoal but slightly less intense than a deep black. Consider a light jacket, a shirt that could double as a jacket, a vest, a dress, a skirt, or pants.
