This is an animal printed linen in dark brown and black on an oatmeal-colored (beige) background.  Then it's been coated with a clear glaze, making it quite shiny while it retains its linen texture.  It is water resistant, but not water proof.  However, it's terrific looking!  Use a teflon foot to sew it, and a warm iron with a press cloth to press it.  Then it's easy to work with.  Allow a bit of ease, as it has no stretch, even on the crosswise grain.  It would be wonderful in a jacket, light coat, or vest.
