This is a really special fabric--I've never seen it before. It's a handwoven linen constructed from varying threads in barely off-white, soft neutral light beige, and the largest threads are a light golden color. All the threads have a bit of sheen, and they're woven into a subtle plaid. The individual threads are fairly substantial, yet the fabric has a nice drape. It makes me think of those "French" jackets, although it could be made with less involved construction methods. It deserves some care to show off its amazing quality.
