This is an exceptionally lovely linen from Japan.  It has a wonderful drape and a distinctive color palette.  The linen itself is white, while the border print is primarily black in blocks that look as though they were printed on the fabric with a sponge.  Above that border are black abstract, almost handpainted shapes, white cloud-like shapes, and an occasional wash of a pale metallic copper.  Make shirts, shells, tops, blouses, tunics, or dresses from this lovely linen.
