Ramie is a linen-like fiber, and this ramie weave is soft, smooth, lightweight, and somewhat translucent.  The design is striking.  At one selvedge, a wide band of violet begins.  It's about 18" wide and streaked with lighter and darker "stems" that extend into the field of flowers that cover the remaining 3/4 of the fabric's width.  The flowers are especially vibrant in orange and gold with violet centers.  They're surrounded by bubbles in blues, yellow, gold, violet, and turquoise.  A dress, shirt, blouse, top, or tunic would be striking in this wonderful fabric.
