The subtlety of this design makes it a bit sophisticated. It's a linen/cotton midweight from Japan in a quiet beige colorway. On it has been printed a grid of 1-1/4" squares formed by white lines about 1/8" apart. The squares overlap slightly, making them much more interesting. The fabric is slightly crisp with a bit of body, and it will make good shells, tunics, shirts that can double as light jackets, jackets themselves, dresses, pencil skirts, or pants.
