This handpainted silk reminds me a bit of the sea. It begins with bright green at one selvedge, then that green with grey-blue spots gradually merges with turquoise, then becomes mottled bright blue at the other selvedge. Then the weave lends another special touch by creating little ribs about 1/8" apart along the lengthwise grain. It's about the weight of a silk crepe, so it will make a wonderful shirt, blouse, shell, top, tunic, or dress.
