This black silk crepe has a sanded, matte finish but also has the luxurious drape of a typical crepe.  Its design is reminiscent of Art Deco and reminds me of the days when people did the Grand Tour of Europe.  The motifs are red, blue, bright yellow, and white and picture a ship, large numbers and letters, the silhouette of a woman in a sundress, and black handwriting in some of the large white numbers, as though someone was writing a postcard to friends back home.  It's a charming design.  It will make lovely shirts, blouses, a kimono, shell, dress, or tunic.
