Silk matka has a slightly nubby texture because it's woven from thicker threads. You can see the weave in the first photo, while the second photo shows that this is truly black fabric. It's still a light/medium weight an has a bit of drape, so it's not crisp like a cotton. Make a vest or lightweight jacket.
