For Both Views:

Decorative hand or machine stitching can be used:  faux sashiko stitching, faux pick stitching, 2-thread decorative stitching, edgestitching, or edgestitching with topstitching.  Instructions are included.

View A:

A pullover style, medium hip length, has side vents, a wide pocket with button and buttonhole, and a cowl neckline with drawstring or a "French" neck binding. 

Hem miters are drafted in the pattern for easy stitching. 

Choose 3 coordinating fabrics to make a dynamic statement.


View B: 

A loose-fitting pullover shirt with a deep front pleat.  Machine and optional decorative stitching fasten the pleat even with the top of the decorative pocket so the shirt can be worn closed by 2 small buttons at the neck, or the close-fitting neckline can be worn open. 

Convertible collar.
